To start the Blood's Honor skyrim mission you need to speak to Kodlak Whitemane, keep in mind you first need to have completed the Companions' missions; Proving Honor and two so-called radiants quests i.e. Stealing Plans and Trouble in Skyrim. Kodlak Whitemane will summon you as he has heard you and Aela the hunteress have been waging a secret war upon the Silver Hand, as an act of revenge for Skjor's death. He says that too much blood has been spilt, and asks you to stop it. However, Kodlak have other things on his mind; and he tells you about how lycanthropy was introduced in the bloodline of the Companions, through a deal with the witches of Glenmoril. Kodlak is a nord, and thus he wants his spirit to rise into the heaven of Sovngarde upon his death; and knowing that werewolves end up in the eternal hunting ground of Hirace, he wants to cure his lycantrophy.
Mission objectives:
1. - Speak to Kodlak Whitemane
2. - Collect a Glenmoril Witch's head
3. - (Optional) Wipe out the Glenmoril Witches
4. - Return to Kodlak
1. Speak to Kodlak Whitemane
Referring what I said in the text above, he wants you to find a cure for lycantrophy, and says that the ways of magic can only be undone by destroying the ones who laid down the magic spell of beast form upon the companions; the Glenmoril Witches. Kodlak asks you to travel to the Glenmoril Witches head, and chop of one of their heads; only then will the magic be undone.
2. Collect a Glenmoril Witch's head
Kodlak Whiteman firmly believes that through decapitating one of the witches the magic will be undone. You will find the Glenmoril Coven, south of Fort Sungard; beware that Fort Sungard is crawling with Forsworn enemies, and that you are very likely to meet a dragon here. Once you have reached Glenmoril Coven, you fight your way through the magic casters, killing them all (if you so please). Within Glenmoril Coven you will quickly find a Glenmoril Witch which you can kill and then take her head. At this stage you may return to Kodlak with the head, or you may alternatively continue and wipe out all the Glenmoril Witches.
3. (Optional) Wipe out the Glenmoril witches
The Glenmoril Coven cave complex is quite big, dark and eerie. Venture on and kill the witches; try to sneak up on them as often as you can. There are 4 additional Glenmoril Witches hidden within the cave structure, be sure to seek out every single one to fulfill this mission objective.
4. Return to Kodlak
After having completed the above mission objectives you should return to Kodlak Whitemane in the house of Jorrvaskr. Upon returning to the house of Jorrvaskr you will see that it has been attacked by the Silver Hand... and they managed to kill Kodlak Whitemane. Vilkas is furious at you for not having been there when they struck... but at least you can find peace in that Kodlak is now at eternal rest in Sovngarde. This conversation with Vilkas immediately starts the next mission: Purity of Revenge; in which you are to avenge Kodlak's death and retrieve the fragments of Wuuthrad, which also were stolen in the attack.
